Social Security Disability Benefits

There are two types of Social Security Disability benefits: Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

  • Supplemental Security Income benefits are paid to disabled individuals with limited income and resources.
  • Social Security Disability Insurance benefits are paid to disabled workers who can no longer work who have sufficient wage credits to qualify.

If you are unable to work due to disabling mental or physical conditions, you should not delay in filing a claim for benefits with the Social Security Administration.  The sooner you file a claim, the sooner you may be able to receive benefits.

Many people who file are denied social security disability benefits.  It is important to appeal your denial as soon as possible, and to seek the assistance of an experienced attorney to help you with your appeal.  An attorney representative can help you gather the information and support to prove your disability claim.

If you have received a denial of benefits from the Social Security Administration, contact our office for a legal consultation today.

DO NOT DELAY!

A late appeal of a denial can cost you time, money and right to appeal!
